(InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya Hotel)

Architecture: The best Western and Russian architects are engaged in the project: Mosproject-2, architect M. Leonov (Russia); Centroproekt AIK (Serbia); PCG (Germany); ReardonSmith Architects (Great Britain); Chapman Taylor (Great Britain). The interior design of InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya Hotel was created by AlexKravetzDesign, forming the Grand boutique atmosphere combined with modern trends based on architectural elements of the most well-known high-end constructions. The interior design of the office and retail parts is performed by Chapman Taylor (Great Britain).

Location: A mixed-use complex SUMMIT is located in the very heart of the city, on the site of the ex-hotel “Minsk” on 22, Tverskaya Street. The complex is featured by the exceptional location in the financial and tourist center of the megapolis, in the near proximity to the lively Pushkin Square, town hall and the Kremlin, in one of the top ten shopping streets in the world, standing in line with the Champs-Elysees in Paris, Oxford Street in London and 5th Avenue in New York.

Description: The infrastructure of the complex, with the total area of 64 000 sqm, consists of five-star InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya Hotel, operated by InterContinental Hotel Group, A-class offices, luxury retail galleries and underground parking.

InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya is created to establish essentially new quality standards on the premium hotel market in Moscow. The project will occupy the significant place in the modern Russian city planning culture and is meant to become a flagship of Moscow hotels as the world’s tourist center.

Hotel

Guest rooms will be well-appointed, with hardwood parquet flooring, built-in TV in the bedroom and bathroom, bespoke furniture, luxurious fabrics and a striking glass wall between bathroom and bedroom. The hotel will also have a collection of suites, including a Presidential Suite on the 12th floor. Other facilities include a Club Lounge InterContinental floor, restaurant, lobby bar, health club, day spa and extensive meeting and conference facilities.

The lobby bar on the ground floor is anticipated to be the place to meet, while the restaurant on the first floor will offer live cooking, a comprehensive wine list and spectacular views across historical city center. An oval wine room will provide a sophisticated entertaining space for private dining and events.

For business guests, meeting facilities at InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya will include a ballroom with natural daylight and views, seating up to 600 guests theatre-style.

Designed by international spa consultants Raison d’Etre (Sweden), the health club and day spa will offer an idyllic retreat to escape the hustle and bustle with a comprehensive and innovative treatment menu.

InterContinental Hotels Group: InterContinental’s parent company, IHG, maintains a leading position in Russia with a portfolio of 20 properties open or in the development pipeline in six of Russia’s 13 largest cities. The hotel brand has a large presence in Moscow with almost 1,400 rooms already open and rising to more than 2,000 by 2010.

The seven IHG hotels open in Russia today include six Holiday Inn hotels (Holiday Inn Moscow Lesnaya, Holiday Inn Moscow Suschevsky, Holiday Inn Moscow Sokolniki, Holiday Inn Moscow Vinogradovo, Holiday Inn Chelyabinsk Riverside, Holiday Inn Samara) and one Crowne Plaza hotel (Crowne Plaza Moscow World Trade Centre).

Capitalizing on the growing business and leisure markets across the country, IHG’s has 13 hotels in the pipeline including construction in St Petersburg, Samara, Rostov and Novosibirsk. In addition, IHG and Crocus Group have recently signed a deal to build the world's biggest Holiday Inn hotel in Moscow, a 1,000-room hotel scheduled to open in 2014. IHG opened its own hotelier school in Moscow.

Offices

The office areas of the mixed-use complex SUMMIT are located in the Northern part of the building. Total office area - over 18 500 sqm. Offices overtake the space from the 3d up to the 10th floors. Spacious multilevel underground parking for 200 cars in ratio of 1 car space per 80 sqm. is at full tenant’s disposal.
